Abstract: | An overview of the various factors involved in the management of a project is presented. Approaches to controlling performance cost, time and quality are examined; the importance of working to a programme and to a preconceived specification is stressed. An in-depth analysis of the management tasks at the design, construction and commissioning stages is given. Emphasis is placed on the precise roles of participants within a project, along with guidelines concerning the choice of management contract. |
