Analysis of Reducing Losses for 10 kV Distribution Network

The paper analyzed the electricity quantity of 10 kV distribution network losses from the HV power grid, LV line and the consumer＇s lines. The measures of reducing 10 kV distribution network losses were presented from eight aspects such as economic operation of distribution network, boosting the operation voltage, raising the power factor, raising the load factor, adopting the new equipments of energy-saving, enhancing management and calculation of line losses, strengthening the checking of power consumption and managing of electricity tariff.
