混合网络研究

Research Hybrid Network

The Ad hoc network and cellular network are two main components of the wireless communication system. A hybrid wireless network formed by them may be an important pattern of the next-generation mobile communication system. The paper introduces the status quo of the study of hybrid networks, and analyzes characteristics of various hybrid network models. Moreover, it discusses some key technical issues for hybrid networks, including architecture, communication mode selection, channel distribution, routing, billing and load balancing. The paper concludes that the hybrid networks, with their flexible architecture, not only enhance the support for traditional services, but also create conditions for introducing new services. It thinks that convergence of Ad hoc network and cellular network is the basis of the next-generation mobile communication system.
