Research and practice of stable operation of vacuum system of RH equipment in Baosteel

The RH refining process is needed to produce high value-added steel in the steelmaking plant,and the stability of vacuum system of RH is the key factor to determine the quality of molten steel.The classification of RH vacuum system failure are introduced,including related energy failure,leakage failure and vacuum pump components failure.Each class of failure is analyzed,and some actual vacuum system failure are presented,which is helpful to find the vacuum breakdown quickly.Some vacuum maintenance measures are introduced to help to stabilize the operation of the vacuum system.These measures are successfully experienced over the years,and the practice has proved very effective,which have certain reference to other similar vacuum system.
