A Japanese Architect of the New Generation

Kazuhiro Ishii, an architect of strong personality, creates a unique style in his design. The most striking feature of his works is " borrowing from history", by which he creates the Japanized architecture penetrated with the spirit of modern society. He doesn't adhere rigidly to Japanese traditional architecture, and he keeps the same distance to different tradition and culture in the world, so as to create the lively forms developed from the traditional ones.
