| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the function of the "Great Shanghai Plan" in Shanghai's modern history by scientific historical dialectics. Based on the strategic objective of developing Wujiaochang as a sub-city center of Shanghai and a knowledge based creative industrial zone, respecting the history and the positive essence of the history, the paper proposes strategies for the protection and regeneration of historical and cultural resources of Wujiaochang and the conception of the "Yi-Fen" Zone. |
