Recycling of Scrap Copper in China

The recent development of scrap copper recycling in China is introduced. The copper production process from primary and secondary resources are compared in aspects of investment and operating cost, energy consumption and environmental protection. The collection and classification of scrap copper should be strengthened and the research on new technologies for scavenging scrap copper should be supported in China. These are very important factors for the sustainable development of Chinese copper industry.
