对甲苯磺酸催化合成苯甲醛乙二醇缩醛

摘    要:以对甲苯磺酸为催化剂,苯甲醛和乙二醇为原料,合成了苯甲醛乙二醇缩醛。实验表明,合成苯甲醛乙二醇缩醛适宜的反应条件为:苯甲醛与乙二醇摩尔比1:1.4、催化剂用量为反应物总质量的1.5%、带水剂环己烷的用量为12mL、反应时间45min。上述条件下,苯甲醛乙二醇缩醛的收率可达78.9%。

Abstract:Benzaldehyde glycol aeetal was synthesized from benzaldehyde and glycol in the presence of p - toluene sulfonie acid. The optimum conditions of the synthesis were confirmed as follows: molar ratio of benzaldehyde to glycol 1: 1.4, mass ratio of the catalyst based on the reactants 1.5%, water- carrying agent cyelohexane 12 mL, and the reaction time 45 min. The yield of the product could be up to 78.9% under above conditions. The results also showed that p -toluene sulfonic acid was an excellent catalyst for synthesizing benzaldehyde glycol acetal.
