| Abstract: | Theatre buildings is an important component of ancient Chinese buildings for performing arts and important carrier of Chinese opera culture.Based on investigation in Henan Province and consulting literature materials, this paper presents an analysis on traditional theatre buildings with emphasis on preservation condition, history evolution, typical examples, architectural form, spatial characteristics, artistic accomplishments and so on. |
