Data Partitioning of Coefficient Based on Requantization in Video Coding

Data partitioning is a technique that splits a video bitstream into two or more partitions. The conventional data partitioning algorithm for DCT coefficients is called the spectral separation. In the proposed scheme, the quantized DCT coefficients are requantized, it is shown that the proposed algorithm provides a better image quality than the conventional methods.
