| Abstract: | Manufacturing technologies and refinement methods for dysprosium metal were reviewed. The application of dysprosium in NdFeB permanent magnet,rare earth giant magnetostrictive material,magneto optical recording media and other rare earth functional materials were introduced. Some suggestions were given on further research and development as well as mass production of dysprosium metal. |
