CASE discussion and application

The method of CASE is a kind of pile and foundation testing technology which is used for pile load -bearing capacity and pile body quality. But there are some shortcomings about it. Its calculation doesn't usually conform to the fact. The pile and foundation engineering researchers have many different opinions on it . The principle of CASE is presented briefly. Some problems about its principle defect, limit application, data gathering and dealing are discussed. Its evaluation covers the application fields and capacity.
