Abstract: | Papers deals with simulations of fracture process in quasi-brittle materials like concrete with a novel lattice model. Concrete was described mainly as a three-phase material composed of aggregate, cement matrix and interfacial transition zones. The calculations were carried out for concrete specimens subject to uniaxial extension, shear and extension and three-point bending. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional simulations were performed. The advantages and disadvantages of the proposed model were outlined. |
