| Abstract: | Nb micro-alloyed technology is applied in the design of chemical composition of E36 grade steel for H-beam used in the offshore oil drilling platform. Appropriate TMCP for the experimental steel is established and the mechanical properties of the experimental steel can meet the requirements of the nation standard GB712--2000. |
