律动——城市建筑创作手记

通过对中国城市建设、设计风潮的解析,认为当代中国具有青春期所特有的“律动”。当代中国城市处于多元文化并置状态,农业文明、工业文明、信息文明等多元价值观同时在城市烙下印痕,城市风貌正是在这种多元的汰变中彰显出自在的丰富性。长沙市妇女儿童活动中心的创作实践,正是以“律动”的心境,孕育于当代中国城市的欲求、场所的背景及功能的要求,生成了应对动态外在场所和动感内在功能的解答。

Rhythm——Building in the City, Capriccio of Invention

The essay analyzed current Chinese urban construction and designing, argue that contemporary China have exclusively "rhythm" of adolescence. The contemporary Chinese city is at the multicultural juxtaposition condition. Multi-dimensional values such as the agricultural civilization, the industry civilization, the information civilization, and so on, mark the city synchronously. The city style appears variety in multi-dimensional change and choice. The design practice of the Changsha women and children activity center, is precisely bred in the contemporary China city desire, the place background and the function request by the mood of "rhythm".
