| Abstract: | The present paper elucidates the principles for selection of the refractory material used in the ladle lining from such eight aspects as the material properties, economy, working position, refining, casting processes, interaction between two adjacent kinds of refractory materials, steel grades and crane capacity, and introduces in detail the selection and usage of the refractory material in the 150 t steel ladle in Meishan Steel Plant as an example. |
