| Abstract: | The paper describes the development of CDMA and the standards it concerns, discusses the technical capabilities of DS-CDMA,the performance of DS-SS system,and the advantages of CDMA. The application feasibility of DS-CDMA in five communication systems is illustrated with examples, and the cost and operation profit of CDMA and GSM systems are compared. |
