Abstract: | The wire-beam electrode, a new type of electrode, was developed as a new tool for investigating electrochemical inhomogeneity of temporarily protective oil coatings. The feasibility of using a wire-beam electrode in studies of electrochemical inhomogeneity of temporarily protective oil coating is presented in this paper. Structure parameters of wire-beam electrodes such as the central distance of the adjacent wire pair, the diameter of the wire, the number of wires, etc., and their effect on the study of electrochemical inhomogeneity of temporarily protective oil coatings are discussed in this paper. It is suggested that the wire-beam electrode is a suitable tool for investigating electrochemical inhomogeneity of temporarily protective oil coatings. |
