OPTIMIZATION AND INNOVATION OF ROLLS USING FOR HOT ROLLING IN ZHUJIANG STEEL

The using status and problems of rolls for hot rolling were introduced in Zhujiang steel. Rolls allocation technologies including work roll diameter allocation and high-performance material roll application were developed to produce high-proportion thin gauge hot rolled strips. After using the technologies extensively, the roll consumption was reduced, the proportion of thin gauge strips was increased, and the surface quality of the products was improved.
