摘 要: | 采用螺线型旋风分离器实验装置,考察了排气管插入深度、螺线通道延伸段对螺线型旋风分离器分离性能的影响。结果表明,随着排气管插入深度的增加,螺线型旋风分离器的分离效率先增后减,当排气管的插入深度与进气口高度相等时,分离效率最高;添加螺旋通道延伸段,可在压力降不变的情况下有效提高分离器的分离效率。在本实验条件下,与普通螺线型旋风分离器相比,在相同压力降时,改进后的螺线型旋风分离器分离效率可提升6%~10%,能除尽10 μm以上的颗粒,对2 μm以下的超细颗粒也有较好的捕集效果。基于边界层分离理论,建立了螺线型旋风分离器的粒级效率计算公式,计算值与实验数据吻合性较好。

A Performance Improvement of Spiral Cyclone Separator |

Abstract: | The effects of vortex finder length, extend section of spiral channels on the separation performance of spiral cyclone separator were investigated by carrying out cold experiments. The results indicated that vortex finder length had great influence on the separation performance of the spiral cyclone separator, and the overall efficiency of spiral cyclone separator reached its highest value, when the vortex finder length was equal to the height of tangential inlet (h/a=1). Because of the extend section of the spiral channels, the efficiency of the spiral cyclone separator increased, while pressure drop unchanged. After structure improvement, the overall efficiency of the newly designed spiral cyclone separator was 6%-10% more than that of the ordinary one under the same pressure drop. It is also found that particles larger than 10 μm could be all removed by the newly designed spiral cyclone separator, and some of smaller particles too. Based on the boundary layer separation theory, a formula for calculating the grade efficiency was deduced with a good accuracy between the calculated and experimental data. |
