高功率微波大气击穿阈值分析

摘    要:对高功率微波(HPM)脉冲的大气击穿进行了理论研究,分析了在微波频率、脉冲宽度等变化的条件下,大气击穿电场阈值与海拔高度之间的变化关系,并进行了数值模拟。计算结果表明,存在某一击穿阈值为最小值的海拔临界高度,当脉冲传播到此高度以上时,击穿现象不再发生。还对HPM脉冲在大气中传输的潜行时间进行了估计,当HPM的场强超过击穿阈值愈高时,击穿现象愈明显,潜行时间愈短。

Abstract:In this paper,the problem of high power microwave(HPM)pulses air breakdown is studied.In terms of chan- ging the microwave frequency and pulse width,the relationship between the air breakdown threshold and altitude above sea level is analyzed,then the relation is simulated numerically and data shown.The conclusion is that there is a certain critical altitude where there is a minimum breakdown threshold,and the breakdown phenomena will disappear when pulses propagate above that altitude. Finally the sneak time of HPM pulses propagating in atmosphere is estimated.The higher HPM's electric field intensity exceeds the breakdown threshold,the more serious breakdown phenomenon,and the shorter sneak time.
