Summary on the trial running of domestic production facility for acetylene by dry process

The trial running situation of domestic production facility for acetylene by dry process, whieh adopted the process improted from Japan Diamond Company, in Jiangsu Jiangdong Chemical Co. ,Ltd. was introduced. The process indexes were as follows： the particle size of raw material and finished calcium carbide was 450 mm and about 3 mm respectively, the generation amounts of acetylene were about 2 400 m^3/h per generator,the purity of acetylene was≥98.5 vol % ,the water contents in carbide slag were 8-15 wt%,and there was no carbide in calcium carbide slag.
