Precise log DMO" for DMO analysis

We have derived a set of approximations to Hale's DMO algorithm in f-k domain via a logarithmic transform. Among them the so-called "Precise log DMO"method is supposed to be the idealest, since it integrates the fcaturcs of the rapidity of "stretching method" in implementation and the nearly identical results given by "Hale method" as well as the cxclusion of shallow layers'distortion inheret in the "strctching method ". Liner has presented convincing evidences for the above arguments by comparing the results of theoretical computation using the methood with real data. The pity is that there is no information concerning the origin of the method in his paper.Such a drawback is now made up in the paper.The derivation of the method present here might be beneficial to its prospective and extensitre application.
