The Analysis and Improvement for Malfunction Bearing in a Two-storke Diesel Engine

During the performance testing of an opposed piston and cylinder engine, the lubrication of the inner connecting rods bush was very poor for the continuous pressure on the inner rods. And the ablation malfunction on rod bearing bush appeared two times. After analyzing reasons of the bearing bush breakage, the bush design was improved and implemented in the new test. The ablation malfunction of the bush never happens again, and the test ran successfully.
