A Distributed Data Logger System Based on Grid

The Data logger is an important function in modern advanced simulation system, which can give the data assistant to the whole system after simulation. Diven by the expanding simulation scale and the increasing simulation demand, the more excellent performance of the data logger has called for, as the result, the existing data log system is difficult to bear such burden. Nowadays the grid technology has obtained outstanding result on the data resource distribution, therefore, it is doable to apply grid technology to solve the data distribution problem in the data logger system. In this paper, the idea and architecture of the data logger system over grid are introduced at first, then the way for task distribution and resource management is described in detail.
