| Abstract: | Supercritical fluid dyeing (SFD) is a recently proposed dyeing process which is technologically, economically and environmentally of outstanding characteristics.A full analysis of the characteristics of SFD process, current situation of foundational study of the SFD process and problems with it is introduced after a brief review of the conventional water dyeing process.Some suggestions about main contents, targets and technical ways of the foundational study on the SFD process are proposed. |
