| Abstract: | Based on the results of a series of direct shear and consolidation tests for the brownish-yellow silty clay in Shanghai,the correlation between the strength parameters,compression coefficient and the different shearing surfaces is analyzed.The results show that the soil behavior is strongly influenced by the inherent structure of soil. |
