美国IEER标准简析

Introduction of American IEER standard

American lEER （integrated energy efficiency ratio） standard is briefly introduced. The definition of IEER presented in ANSI/AHRI Standard 340/360-2007 is as follows： it is a single numerical index used to evaluate the partial load energy efficiency of commercial and industrial unitary air-conditioner and heat pump products, it s calculation is based on the weighted EER under various working conditions with different loads. In addition,the standard prescribes that IEER takes the place of IPLV to be a new evaluation standard from Jun 1,2010,which is used to evaluate commercial and industrial unitary air-conditioner and heat pump products with the cooling capacity no less than 19 kW （65 Btu/h）. Moreover,the reasons for the evaluation standard changing from IPLV to IEER are also analyzed from four aspects. The index of IEER will encourage the manufactures to develop compressors with higher efficiency, as well as promote the optimization of heat exchangers with the system of partial load under the testing condition shown in the new standard. As a consequence,these experiences will provide the reasonable reference to develop corresponding standards in China.
