Some methods for the population forecast in the ecological urban planning in county towns

The paper points out the population planning should be closely connected with the process of towns' urbanization and fully considers the whole requirements of the ecological cities.Taking the planning for ecological city in Yunyang county in Chongqing as an example,the paper applies five methods,the integrated balance method,urbanization level method,surplus labor transferring method,environment capacity method and resource carrying capacity to get a more reasonable population plan.
