Abstract:Taking the billet direct rolling process as an example,this paper analyzed the basic concepts of metallurgical process engineering and verifies the guiding role of its basic theory in realizing macro process optimization,reducing energy dissipation,realizing energy saving and emission reduction and green manufacturing in metallurgical manufacturing process.By increasing the casting speed and reducing the number of caster strands,the "laminar flow" operation of material flow can be realized in the process.By enhancing the heat preservation of the billet,constructing the high-speed conveying roller table,optimizing the time and space elements in the continuous casting-rolling process,achieving the " collaborative-order-continuous-compact" interface between different processes,the initial temperature of the billet can be increased and the energy dissipation of the conveying can be reduced.The influence of energy dissipation on the product quality and the fluctuation of mechanical properties in the direct rolling process were analyzed.By controlling the temperature loss of billet in the process,taking appropriate temperature homogenization measures,optimizing the distribution of billet temperature along the length and reducing the temperature difference between head and tail,the fluctuation of product mechanical properties can be reduced,and the narrow window control of product performance can be realized.The generation,composition,and function of information flow in the continuous casting-rolling process are discussed.By realizing the deep fusion of information flow,material flow,and energy flow in the continuous casting-rolling process,the quality stability of products can be guaranteed and the intelligent level of the production plant can be improved.
