| Abstract: | Thisarticle will first give a brief introduction to the background, deployment and state of art of 40Gbit/s high speed optical transmission technology. The main part of the article is the analysis of the challenges of 40Gbit/s transmission technology, including the distance restrict brought by PMD of deployed fiber, continual reducing of cost, boundary and challenge of 40Gbit/s and 100Gbit/s,et.al. |
