粘结剂对储氢合金电极电化学容量的影响

摘    要:采用夹片式电极测试系统,研究了铜粉,镍粉及聚乙烯醇等粘结剂对AB5型储氢合金电极电化学容量的影响。结果表明,用镍粉做粘结剂的电极活化容易,容量高。随着镍粉比例的增加,电极容量增大。镍粉的电催化作用强,镍粉比例的增加抑制了电极在充放电过程中的疏松,改善了电极的导电性。

Abstract:Copper powders, nickel powders and PVA as binding materials were investigated to find out their effect on the discharge capacity of AB5 type hydrogen storage alloy electrode, by using the Sandwich type electrode measurement system. It was found that the electrode with nickel powders possesses easier activation and higher capacity. The effect of nickel powders content in the hydrogen storage alloy electrode on the capacity was also studied, the results showed that the capacity increases with increasing nickel powders content. It is explained that the electro catalysing effect of nickel powders results in the above experimental results and the increase of nickel powders content can reduce loosing of the electrode in charge discharge process, which improves the electric conductivity of the electrode.
