| Abstract: | This paper presents the principle and characteristic for measuring the indicator diagrams of IC engine with the system of China's made model RSO-4 combustion analyzer cooperated with an Apple-II microcomputer. The indicator diagrams of model 2105 A diesel engine are carried out both in neat diesel fuel and emulsified with 15% water by using the mentioned system and the developed software of data acquisition. The heat release rates of engine both combusting in neat diesel and emulsified fuel are acquired by using the compute software to treat the indicator diagrams, then the investigation of combustion characteristic can be made. |
