The Thinking of Nuclear Power Export in BOT Mode

The international economic and social order is profoundly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic,leading to intensified competition in the international nuclear power market,so owners have put forward higher requirements for the financing of nuclear power project.With Russia’s successful export of Akuyu nuclear power plant in the BOT mode,we has also begun to explore the BOT mode to promote nuclear power export,enhance financing capabilities and competitiveness,so as to break out of the fierce competition.This article starts with the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the BOT mode,designs the basic path for exporting nuclear power in the BOT mode,and studies the choice of the registration place of SPV companies at all levels,and proposes reasonable and feasible suggestions to provide references for exporting nuclear power in the BOT mode.
