Preparation and Performance Study on Neutral Transparent Silicone Sealant

Neutral transparent silicone sealant is prepared by taking 107 glue as the base material,compound of methyl tributanone oxime silane and vinyl tributanone oxime silane as cross-linking agent,fumed silica as reinforcing filler,plus coupling agent and catalyst.The article studies influence of different types of 107 glue,white carbon black and silane coupling agent on the performance of transparent sealant.Results show the transparent sealant produced with imported 107 glue has slightly higher consistency,better elongation and higher modulus;the sealant prepared with Wacker white carbon black possesses better elasticity and extruding property than that produced with domestic white carbon black,but the former's transparency is not as good as the latter's;KH-792 is more likely to make the sealant yellow than KH-550 and oligoamino acid.
