Discussion on Bonding Failure of Small Proportion of Structural Sealant in Curtain Wall Unit

As an important method of curtain wall construction quality inspection,the deglazing test method of structural sealant is widely used in quality management of curtain wall projects.However,in many cases,there are disputes about whether a small proportion of structural sealant bonding failure could be judged as qualified.Aiming at the bonding failure of structural sealant in curtain wall unit,the finite element analysis method is used to establish the model,and the bending deformation of glass and stress of glass and silicone sealant under different bonding failure parts and failure ratios are studied.The study results are beneficial to understand the stress of structural sealant in real service scientifically,which provides the basis for deglazing result judgement.
