| Abstract: | Difference between special-shaped columns and short-shearing walls are introduced.Based on some design regulations of frame with special-shaped columns,mechanic characteristics of special-shaped columns and limited values of axial compressive stress ratio are analyzed and structural details and design methods of frame with special-spaced columns are discussed.The conclusions can be useful to the designing engineers. |
