Abstract:For purpose of safety and economic benefit,honeycomb sandwich structure with phenolic panel is widely used in the field of interior decoration.However,in the co-curing process,the compatibility between phenolic prepreg and epoxy film tends to produce weak interface.In this paper,the skin-core interface was optimized by adjusting the area weight of epoxy film.The results show that the drum peeling strength increases first and then decreases with the increase of area weight of epoxy film.In addition,based on the damage morphology and load-displacement curves of four-point bending and panel shear test,effects of the skin-core interface on bending and shear properties were analyzed.The results show that after optimization of the skin-core interface,the ultimate bending load and ultimate shear load have been improved by about 13% and 9% respectively.
