| Abstract: | Padimate O is used widely for sunburn protection and cosmetic ultraviolet sunscreen. It is synthesized from 4 ( N, N dimethylamino) benzoic acid and 2 ethylhex anol, catalyzed by a mixture of Zn Ti compounds. This synthesis method has harly any been reported before, and it is suitable for industrial scale production. |
