Abstract:It utilizes optical fiber network communication technology in order to speed up the construction of the strong smart grid,and further improve the reliability and security of power information transmission.It not only realizes real-time and high-speed data acquisition,but also better meets the development of power electricity business and more conforms to the technology features of smart grid.This paper emphasizes two designs of Fiber to the Meter Box and studies the principals,characteristics,key equipment and scenarios.Then it establishes the theory basis for Fiber to the Meter Box′s promotion by analyzing and comparing with each design.
