Optimal control of a class of distributed systems |

| Abstract: | A procedure consisting of two iterative schemes is developed for the optimal control of quasi-static distributed systems. The procedure, which is based on singular perturbation techniques and calculus of variations, is illustrated for a diffusive system. |
