新型铅基复合屏蔽材料组织结构与性能

摘    要:制备了一种新型B4C/Pb复合屏蔽材料,并对复合材料的微观结构、力学性能和屏蔽性能进行了测试和分析,结果表明:所制备的复合材料结构均匀,抗拉强度和布氏硬度分别达到48.2MPa和22.13HBS,能有效屏蔽快中子和γ射线,20mm厚度的这种屏蔽材料对热中子的吸收率达到95.9%.新型B4C/Pb复合屏蔽材料的制备工艺简便,材料的力学性能和耐热性能都较传统屏蔽材料铅硼聚乙烯有大幅提升,屏蔽性能优异,是一种很有发展前途的材料.

Abstract:A new-style Pb/B4C composite shielding is prepared by hot pressing process. The microstructure, mechanical properties and radiation shielding effect are examined and analyzed. The results indicate that the good con sistency between B4C and Pb-Sb is obtained and the tensile strength and hardness of the composite are 48. 2MPa and 22. 13 HBS respectively. Furthermore,the composite has excellent synthetical shielding effect, especially the absorption ratio for thermal neutron reaches 95.90% at the thickness of 20mm.
