Manufacture Advisory and Its Decision Model for Concurrent Design System

By applying the concept of fuzzy theory, a method for implementing computer aided manufacture advisory as well as an advisory model is presented, which describes the relationship between part functions and part features, the relationship between part features and feature manufacturing methods and the relationship between feature manufacturing methods and facility resources. The problems in alternatives of features, of manufacturing methods and of facility resources are accordingly settled in concurrent design system.
