The Combined 600 t Oil Press for Assembling and Dismantling the Stator Cores of Large Turbogenerator

In order to repair and replace the parts of stator cores for large turbogenerators in their periodic overhaul on power plants, Harbin Electric Machinery Works developed the oil press, which has larger value to be extended and good use effect. The design and action principle of the press, selection of the oil pumps, as well as the reguirements to hydraulic oils and the point of attention at use are introduced. Minimun diameter of the draw rod, inside and outside diameters of the oil cylinder and the piston, as well as cylinder body wall thickness are determined. The deformation of the cylinder body and thickness of the cylinder bottom are calculated.
