Abstract:This paper reviewed the properties of PI foam materials, including thermal insulation, flame retardancy, dielectric performance, sound absorption, electromagnetic shielding effectiveness, and mechanic properties. The mechanisms for the performance improvement of PI foam materials were summarized and analyzed, and the development direction in future was prospected.
