Abstract: | This feasibility study describes a new procedure for bonding particle boards using animal protein glue produced from bone. Making use of the thermoplastic properties of bone glue, particle boards with mechanical properties partly comparable to a MUF-bonded reference board were obtained at laboratory scale. |
