Abstract:The paper firstly reviews the history of the Rayleigh wave exploration technology.Then it introduces various methods of SASW,τ-p transform,Prony,MASW,SPAC,F-K,H-V and REMI.In addition,it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each method.The results show that active source and passive source wave method can determine the s-wave velocity structure,so its application is very wide.Furthermore,joint exploration of active source and passive source surface waves and dispersion curve combination can obtain the high precise dispersion curve,which has a broad applied prospect because it will efficiently improve horizontal resolution and vertical depth of the exploration.
