| Abstract: | The basic situation about 300 kt/a sulfuric acid plant by sulfur burning in Tianhu Chemical (Co.,) Ltd. of Jiangchuan , and the problems on trial running in May, 2003 are introduced. With some new technologies adopted, such as the filter of liquid sulfur, the VK catalyst imported, the Bulink defroster in drying tower, and the blower driven by steam turbine, the production is optimized, the environmental pollution reduced and economic benefit obtained. |
