| Abstract: | Setting forth the problems of the spatial development in Beijing, this paper points out that only after adjusting and integrating city function and spatial structure, these problems could be solved. It puts forward some viewpoints of changing urban pattern from the spread of city to regional development and from relatively independent new city to mutually connected regional cities. |
