Abstract:At present,most of the current researches on bimetal-lined composite pipes do not consider the influence of the pipe end weld ring during the pipe making process,and the mechanical properties of the materials in the pipe making anticorrosion process change with temperature,presenting significant influence on the compactness of the bimetal-lined composite pipe.For this reason,a"two-step method"finite element model for the mechanics analysis of the bimetal-lined composite pipe making process is established to simulate the pressure loading-pressure releasing-heating-cooling stage of the pipe making process.The analysis results show that the model can accurately simulate the change process of the liner-base pipe compactness.Considering that the axially coupled binding constraint relationship model of the weld is quite different from the plane strain model,the pipe ends of the two pipes of the binding constraint model are shortened at the same time during the pressure loading process,which will cause changes in the radial deformation behavior of the liner and the base pipe before and after contact,and ultimately affect the compactness and its distribution.The compactness increases with the loading internal pressure.Greater difference in expansion coefficient between the two materials leads to smaller compactness.Appropriately increasing the internal pressure and reducing the difference in expansion coefficient will help improve compactness.The results obtained can provide references for the design and application of bimetal-lined composite pipes.
